About PiqMax

What is PiqMax?

PiqMax is route software for companies whose trucks run pickup and delivery routes. One program covers routes, drivers, inventory, invoices, phones and maintenance.

Who is PiqMax for?

Companies that send trucks to the same stops again and again. PiqMax was built around used oil and coolant collection, where every stop has gallons, drums, receipts and manifests. If you run vacuum, grease, septic, propane, fuel, roll-off or delivery trucks, a demo will show you how it fits your routes.

Is PiqMax built for used oil collection?

Yes. PiqMax tracks oil, coolant, cleaning fuel, mix fluid, graywater, filters, rags and non-hazardous wastewater. It follows the material from the customer to the truck, from the truck to a base and from the base to headquarters. See used oil collection software.

What should I look for in route software?

Start with what happens after the route is planned. A planner app puts stops in order. If you also need to track drums and tanks, take signatures, print manifests, invoice from the pickup and keep trucks maintained, you need a system that does those too. Our comparison lays out the three kinds of route software.

Does PiqMax work in more than one state?

Yes. PiqMax runs multiple bases, each with its own drivers, trucks, routes and inventory, and they don't have to be in the same state.

Price

How much does PiqMax cost?

PiqMax runs $50 to $75 per truck. Book a demo and we'll give you the number for your fleet.

Is PiqMax cheaper than other route software?

It depends on what you compare it to. Route planner apps can cost less because they only plan routes: the lowest published price we found in November 2026 was about $35 per driver a month. Fuller systems can cost much more: one publishes $129 per user a month with a five-user minimum, and many don't publish a price at all. PiqMax runs $50 to $75 per truck and covers routes, drivers, inventory, invoices, phones and maintenance in one program. More in how route software is priced.

Routes

Does PiqMax optimize routes?

Yes. Turn on Google Route Optimization for a route and PiqMax asks Google for the best order, with traffic. Stops with a time window stay inside their window first, then it finds the shortest drive. You can leave it off on any route where your driver knows better.

How does PiqMax know when a stop is due?

Every drum and tank has its own pickup cycle of 3, 7, 14, 21 or 28 days, so the stops that are due come up on their own. A customer can also have a preferred day of the week.

Can PiqMax handle called-in pickups?

Yes. A called-in stop shows in red on today's route, so the office and the driver both see it.

What happens when a driver skips a stop?

The driver marks the skip in the app and the stop goes to a Skipped Stops list for the office, so it doesn't get lost.

Is there a driver app?

Yes. Drivers run the route from their phone: today's stops, tap the address to open the map, enter gallons, get the customer's signature, complete the receipt, handle manifests and base transfers, and report a truck problem.

Inventory and paperwork

Can PiqMax track drums and tankers?

Yes. Every drum has its own number. PiqMax shows what's in it, how full it is and where it's sitting, at every base. Tankers show each compartment and how much is on board.

Does PiqMax handle manifests and receipts?

Yes. The driver completes a signed receipt at each stop, and the truck's manifests are kept by load. You can search past pickups by customer, driver, receipt number or manifest number.

Does PiqMax send invoices?

Yes. Invoices come from the pickup with the gallons, stop fee and manifest fee already on them. You can send them by email, mark them paid and send reminders, and overdue accounts show up on their own.

Can PiqMax forecast what's coming?

Yes. Projections looks one month to a year ahead, stop by stop, and shows how much each truck would have on board.

Phones

Does PiqMax include a phone system?

Yes. Calls, texts, voicemail and the call log are on one screen in the Call Center. AI can answer calls and take pickup requests. An urgent request goes on today's route as a called-in stop, and a regular one is logged as scheduled so the customer keeps their normal day.

When does the AI answer?

You choose: around the clock, or by the answering hours you set. Your team's phones ring first.

Fleet

Does PiqMax track truck maintenance?

Yes. Fleet Health shows every truck at every base as on the road, spare or down. PM service and inspections are tracked per truck, and when a driver reports a problem it goes to the shop with a status from request to completed. See fleet maintenance software.

Does PiqMax work with Samsara?

Yes. PiqMax connects to Samsara for trucks, trailers, drivers, miles and engine codes.

Can PiqMax show my FMCSA record?

Yes. PiqMax reads the public FMCSA data for your carrier, including inspections by truck.

Getting started

Can I bring my customers and routes over?

Yes. PiqMax imports from Excel. An import adds and updates, never deletes, shows you what it's about to do and saves a backup first.
